During our first term at school we learned about and celebrated two religious festivals; Eid and Diwali. These were both very special celebrations in our class as we are very lucky to have children from both faith backgrounds in our class. They were able to tell us how their families celebrated at home and we found lots of similarities between different faiths in our class.
To celebrate Eid, we learned a song along with some actions and to celebrate Diwali, we made paper lanterns. We hope you enjoy our song.
