For Maths week  last week in Second class we were learning all about symmetry. Over the week, the class  learned what symmetry was,  found every day objects that were symmetrical, designed patterns that had a least one line of symmetry and also examined symmetry in nature. We also used some fantastic apps on the iPads to carry out our work including Geoboard, Book Creator, Kahoot and Nearpod. We even had some of the parents kindly come in and volunteer with some of the groups. It was a brilliant week and the some of the work produced was excellent.
